“And the Ocean taught her how to drown in all the things bigger than herself. The Ocean loved her and knew everything that made her. And every time that she’d walk to the shore, she’d smile at the Ocean because the waves told her story.”

When I was a child, I had dreams in which the waves of the Ocean were pulling me in.
It scared me. The Ocean was Ominous, foreboding.
Now, a bit older, I love nothing more than walking beside her, listening to the crash of her waves on the shoreline, the birds singing her songs up above.
When I close my eyes, the voice of the Ocean is silent.
In her silence, her voice speaks tacitly sharing her ancient knowledge. In her silence, I feel her infinite age and Wisdom that stretches beyond any numerical parameter.
Her Nature is a most powerful force with its strong currents and waves, yet it can induce deep sleep, meditation and presence.
The Ocean is a source of life and diversity as well as calmness and serenity.
Within the broad embrace of the Ocean’s watery arms, the story of the Earth can be heard. A story that includes my own.
I bow to her majestic presence, respect her life force, and I am in awe of the ominous mysteries that reside deep below her blue belly where the eyes of man have never gone.
Next time you stand beside her, listen closely, the Ocean speaks with a soft Wisdom she is wanting you to hear.
