Merry Peaceful Christmas

I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. The house was quiet. The darkness of my room offered a sense of peace and tranquility.

I went through my gratitude list. The first thing I thought of was that I am grateful for that smile that started my day :)

Then some breathwork and meditation – I am sharing it with you below. If you find some time today, steal away to a position that is comfortable for you – seated or laying down and try this quick reset meditation.

Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.

Notice your breath as it enters your body. How does your body respond to your breath? Feel the rise and fall of your chest, the expansion of your belly. 

Deepen your breath by inhaling deeply through your nose holding at the top and exhaling through your mouth audibly. This calms the nervous system.

Continue breathing in through the nose. Imagine a beautiful white light coming in with your breath, filling up each cell of the body.

Then, Imagine the color of grey as you exhale all the energy you have been holding on to that no longer serves your higher good.

Repeat 12 times.

Finally, transition your breathing into a way that feels more natural for another minute.

Close down your practice with a smile on your face.
